Most bands don’t last 15 minutes, let alone 15 years. Then again, most bands aren’t Chevelle. The hard-rockers recently released their 6th album Hats Off To The Bull, and they were kind enough to stop by to talk with us about it.
If rock stars are supposed to be all about sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll, Switchfoot didn’t get the memo. These dudes are cool, down to earth, and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They stopped by our studios for an interview, so we grabbed a camera to film a few of their answers…
Hot wings, Kiss memorabilia, and male strippers. No, that’s not Jed The Fish’s Christmas wish list. They’re just some of the topics Seether discussed with us when they stopped by for an interview…
Aaron Bruno is you typical So-Cal kind of guy. He goes surfing, follows Raiders football, and – oh yeah – he’s the lead singer for an awesome rock band!! Check out our interview with the AWOLNATION front-man after the jump…
For the most part, hard rock is a male dominated world. Still, that hasn’t stopped the female-fronted band Eyes Set To Kill from causing mosh pits all over the country. The band, led by sister Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez, recently released their new album White Lotus…
Gavin Rossdale is better than the average rock star. He’s humble, charming, well-spoken, and has very good taste in women (Hi Gwen!). We did our best not to get lost in his eyes when he came by our studio recently, instead focusing on Bush’s new album, their live show, and what drives him to create new music…
Things have been hectic for Tom DeLonge lately. If reuniting, touring, and recording a new album with Blink 182 wasn’t enough, he’s also got a new release from Angels and Airwaves coming out, with an AVA movie to boot! Still, even with all of this going on, he somehow found the time to stop by our studios for an interview.
There are so many labels you can put on bands these days – hark rock, indie, electronic - the list goes on and on. Still, even with all these sub-genres, it’s sometimes difficult to express exactly what a band sounds like. That’s the case for The Fling, a new group coming out of Long Beach, CA. If you wanted to call them folk or Americana, that’d be ok. With their Beatles like harmonies, an argument could be made for a 60′s pop type of label. However you want to describe them, one thing is for sure – this is a talented group of musicians who are clearly on the rise…
When it comes right down to it, we here at Out Of Order are pretty lucky. We get to make a living listening to music and talking to rock stars. Not a bad life!
Case in point, the guys from Taking Back Sunday stopped by recently to chat about their new self-titled album. It’s the first release to feature the band’s original lineup since 2002′s Tell All Your Friends. Watch this video to see bandmates Adam Lazzarra and John Nolan talk about touring, injuries, and a game called “drink the beer”…
