By now you’ve probably heard about the crazy story with Olympic snowboarder Shaun White. Rock music is littered with great duos - from The Black Keys, to The Kills, to The White Stripes (still miss them!). Well, make room for another gruesome two-some, because a duo named Two Gallants is ready to rock your world!
2011 is in the books, and with it goes some amazing music. Blink 182 and Bush both returned with a vengeance, while Sublime With Rome carried on 15 years after their original singer’s death. The Airborne Toxic Event, Florence + The Machine, and Cage The Elephant proved that bands don’t have to have a sophomore slump. Foster The People, Grouplove, and Young The Giant all burst on the scene, while Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, and Coldplay added more awesome songs to their already crowded catalogues. There are several things in life we love – candy, puppies, wet t-shirt contests – and The Black Keys! That’s why we’re so excited to have new music from Ohio’s favorite sons, a brand new track called “Lonely Boy”…
Sometimes in life, people struggle to find the words to truly describe their feelings. Such was the case when we found out The Black Keys would be teaming up with rappers like Talib Kweli, The Cool Kids, and Wiz Khalifa for a new installment of their Blakroc project. Still, after careful consideration, we determined these 3 words best summed up our reaction:
OH HELL YEAH!
