By now you’ve probably heard about the crazy story with Olympic snowboarder Shaun White. Allegedly, he got wasted in Nashville, forced a hotel to be evacuated by pulling the fire alarm, destroyed a phone in the hotel, then proceeded to get arrested for public intoxication and vandalism. Even with all that info, many people were left wondering what led up to these antics at 2am. Well, now we know why…

Record Store Day is this Saturday, April 21st. To celebrate, bands are releasing all kinds of special singles, albums, live recordings, etc… There are literally hundreds of special releases coming out! You can’t be expected to keep track of all that! To help you out, we here at Out Of Order have selected some of our favorites – 50 in total – they we think you should check out…

2011 is in the books, and with it goes some amazing music. Blink 182 and Bush both returned with a vengeance, while Sublime With Rome carried on 15 years after their original singer’s death. The Airborne Toxic Event, Florence + The Machine, and Cage The Elephant proved that bands don’t have to have a sophomore slump. Foster The People, Grouplove, and Young The Giant all burst on the scene, while Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, and Coldplay added more awesome songs to their already crowded catalogues. All-in-all, 2011 delivered some of the best music we’ve had in years. Here are some of the songs we’ll remember long after the calendar turns… (more…)

Such was the case when we found out The Black Keys would be teaming up with rappers like Talib Kweli, The Cool Kids, and Wiz Khalifa for a new installment of their Blakroc project. Still, after careful consideration, we determined these 3 words best summed up our reaction:
